There is a new DVD now on the market from Rex Attorneys Videos, Incorporated
(RAV, Inc.), which is designed to educate people on how to act
and how to respond when law enforcement either stops or detains
you for questioning or arrest you. The video is entitled, "Knowing
and Protecting Your Rights.
Rex Attorneys Video, Inc. (RAV, Inc.), is an Anchorage, Alaska based
education and video production company founded by three east coast
natives, an Alaskan and an eastern European.
The company has produced a new DVD in a series designed to educate
individuals about their Constitutional rights and how to use them
to protect themselves. The initial DVD is entitled, "Knowing
and Protecting Your Rights.
Rex Lamont Butler who is a criminal defense attorney and educator
with over twenty years experience in this area hosts the video. Throughout
the video Mr. Butler narrates and gives superb examples of interactions
between the police and citizens that occur each day in the United
States.
The company hired the services of a retired veteran police officer,
as a consultant, to provide significant insight about techniques
used by law enforcement designed to encourage citizens to give up
their valuable Constitutional rights. However, since this DVD was
designed to educate the average citizen, the company used "regular" people
instead of professional actors to demonstrate the interactive scenes.
This DVD is the first of its kind and is designed for everyone regardless
of race, age, citizenship or profession. It is available in Spanish
and English.
